The Red Clutch / Sling

The red Valentino clutch I wore last night (from previous post), the strap is detachable. It's actually my mom's. LOL. It's mine now, she just doesn't know it yet! haha. It's vintage. She bought this like 20 years ago and it's gorgeous! I love it and it's staying in my closet! :D

My cousin's 20th birthday dinner

Hello Ladies!

My little cousin turned 20 yesterday! And invited me and my brothers to his birthday dinner last night. I pretty much just grabbed the first thing I saw in my closet as I was rushing after work to get to the venue on time. 

If you're in a rush, keep it simple girls. A pair of jeans and a plain black or white tshirt is the way to go! Don't forget to accessorize ladies!! :D

The Eva Clutch

Been looking for a small clutch bag that I can turn into a sling bag. For evening or for cocktail parties. I found this. I've seen it many times before and I think it's about time that I buy it before the price goes higher. :)

Uniforms *Roll Eyes*

This morning, while I was getting ready for work, I was looking at my orange shoes which would look great with my green top and orange cardigan and my long black maxi skirt. But no. I can't wear them because we wear uniforms at work. 

I understand that the idea of uniform is to create a common identity and discipline. But my opinion is that uniforms are an abomination. hahaha. We all need to experience variety to get some fashion sense? (just saying).

Oh well.. I guess, a white shirt and my navy suit would be the only option for today. I can't wait for Saturday.

There's no secret that I'm a shoe-aholic. From Rubi shoes to Gucci shoes. From Zara to Prada! From Converse to LK Bennets. You name it. My shoes ranges from $20 - $1500. It doesn't really matter. As long as it looks good on my feet and as long as it's within my budget for the month! So I've been window shopping online again and look what I found!!! A beautiful pair of Benjamin's heels!! A Patriotic Day

Just Another Maxi Dress

I was looking through my pictures and this was taken a few months ago actually. hehe. But I thought I'd share it with you because this dress is what I'll wear on a lazy Saturday or Sunday. Or even on a night out with my girlfriends. It's so comfortable I can sleep in them! Just one of those comfortable maxi dresses that you can wear anytime and on any occassions. This picture was taken when I was at a beach barbecue with my mates. I accessorised it with an over sized cardigan, my long black beaded necklace, large dark grey ring, and my gladiator sandals.

So today my colleague and I went out at lunch to the tailors to make dresses for Eid. Yes, its jLo inspired again. I know, I know. I love her fashion sense. It's so elegant and fun at the same time. She's my style icon and I wish I had her body too! *giggles*. Here's what I brought with me to show the tailor at Bajoo. hehe.

Thurs"day" Dream

So I did a bit of "window" shopping online and was thinking of getting a new handbag from Louis Vuitton. Then I stumbled on a pair of shoes instead. Oh my LV, look at this! 

These, ladies, is worth GBP590. Was staring at it for a very very very very long time until my boss had to wave at me to get my attention because one, I was busy checkin' out this beauty and two, I had my headphones on while listening to "titanium by David Guetta ft. Sia at the highest volume my eardrums can take. *giggles* A greaaaaat way to start my Thursday Morning! I'm SO getting this! I should, right? Right? Right? Right? :D

The "E" Dress

I was looking through my engagement pictures and thought I'd share some photos of my dress that I designed with Gypsy Boutique, Brunei. I loved the colour of the fabric and I love how Gypsy kept it simple with white and blue beads. My mom got me the headscarf from a Kuala Lumpur boutique and coincidentally match my dress! :) This was in April and kept on looking at my dress once in a while hahahaha maybe I can wear it again for eid? :)

The Turban

Hello Ladies!

It's my first post, and I'm on my lunch break now! Let me quickly share with you my weekend look. I love putting on the "turban" style when I'm out with my mates and especially when I'm at the beach! I'm so inspired by Jennifer Lopez. Yes, JLo! She rocks her head scarf like no other!!

The secret to having this look is, if you don't have long hair like me, wear an inner bonnet and stuff a crumpled scarf or a t-shirt inside. This will give you a bump so you can wrap your long scarf around and it will stay there the whole day! If you're not confident, stick in some bobby pins and you're good to go. ;) Have fun!

ps. When and If I have time, I'll upload a step-to-step tutorial with pics on how to put on a simple turban ;)
